This page is a bit sparse/rough since the whole site is being revamped after something like three years (or eight years depending how you look at it). Okay, I HOPE it will be revamped...

This is stuff/crap that I have done that relates to the webcomic Sluggy Freelance

I have discovered how the people at Chain Bear really do the sketches for the Sunday Sluggy Freelance pages:
Incriminating evidence right here!

Loving Doves Wedding Record
2009 September 29 -- ?

This is an animation of a counted cross-stitch I completed recently. It is 23 frames and 31 KB.

This took a while to turn it in to an animated gif, since I needed to keep it under 40 KB (The Sluggy admin does not want avatars any larger than that). To keep the size down I had to meticulously go through each frame and reduce it down to keep only the changes from one frame to the next. I think it took about 4-5 hours of constant checking back and forth, then optimizing the palette for each image to be as detailed but as small as possible...

To see the cross-stitch larger and with more info, go to my Cross-Stitch Page about this.

Now for fun, can you figure out what the lower right corner of the animation is showing you?

This image was created because of what was implied in the 2008, Feburary 10th strip of what Torg had drawn. But a Post-It note was "inconveniently" placed over that particular image. Pete Abrams stated that he had not actually drawn Riff with Oasis's hair, so not to ask/beg to see the image... If I remember correctly...

More info later when I get around to it...

Zolander "visiting" Ye Olde Gork Orphanage
This avatar was used for part of December and all of January 2009.

It was taken from the 2008, September 26th strip, and if you notice, it looks a little different...

I will eventually put up a comparison and maybe a fancy animated gif showing my alterations.

More info later when I get around to it...

classified There may have been an avatar that was used from April to December of 2008 in the Sluggy Forums, but it has "mysteriously" gone missing...
